Today, we’re going to take a look at why ViralMarket is a scam. I apologize if that’s a little too forward, but there’s no other way around it. It’s just another phishing website trying to exchange promises for your personal information.
Don’t be disappointed. We can still gain value from this fact, and that’s what I’m offering today. I’ll walk you through the reasons it’s just another scam; you’ll be ready to stay away from all similar scams.
The internet is filled with websites offering hundreds of Dollars for doing trivial tasks and referring people. Luckily, you can spot the signs quickly if you know what to look for. What do you need to look for? That’s what you’re learning in this article.
There’s no money to be made here
It follows the same formula: you’ll accumulate “money” on your account balance, but that money doesn’t exist. Once you meet the withdrawal requirements, you’re supposed to be able to request your money.
Once you do it, they’ll come back after a while to tell you it was rejected. If you keep messaging them, they’ll block you. If too many people complain, they’ll shut down the site and resurface with a different name.
Everything in this website is fake: from their experience to all testimonials and payment evidence.
That’s because you’re not providing value
The real reason why they never pay is that they don’t have the money they claim. You’ll read about sponsorship deals and ad revenue, but all of that is fake. They don’t make money from your completed surveys; they have a different business model.
Besides, the effort they’re asking from you isn’t worth what they’re offering. No one would pay you just for signing up—at least not $25. Completing surveys isn’t worth $30, and the same goes for the competition prizes.
Finally, sharing your referral link isn’t worth $2, and the same goes for referred contacts and the $10 reward. That’s why you’ll never get paid; that money doesn’t exist.
At least, that’s for the “influencer network” business model they claim to run. The reality is other, and they make money from other sources.
You’re the product
They’re really after your email address and personal information. That’s why they’re constantly pushing you to join their network and refer other people to do the same.
They prey on people who believe they can make lots of money effortlessly on the internet. This group is less likely to understand how online entrepreneurship works; they might also be desperate. As long as they can get at least an email address, they can make money.
All forms you need to fill have the same goal: to harvest all the information they can.
You’ll just give away your email address
The ViralMarket name is a reference to the viral marketing approach. Viral marketing involves content going viral on social media via influencers; this makes it easier for it to reach as many people as possible.
That’s ironic, because it’s actually based on viral marketing. However, it only aims to go viral so that it can reach all the people it can. It’s only beneficial to creators, and if you join, you’re just gifting them your email address.
ViralMarket sells this address to advertisers, and it’s only a matter of time before you start receiving spam email on your inbox. The content in these emails is usually links to more spam websites.
And that’s still the best outcome
Competitions usually ask for more personal data, and this is when things can get really dangerous. You can expect them to ask for your name, birth date, phone number, and even your physical address.
If you comply, you can only pray that more spam advertising is as bad as it gets. Just think about what hackers can do with all that information, and things become scary very quickly.
As I said, it’s best just to stay away from these sites.
All tasks are false
Besides referring people, they offer you a task wall for more options to make money. You’re rewarded with $30 for these prize competitions, but you already know that this money doesn’t exist.
Now, prize competitions aren’t always scams. The problem comes with how much they inflate the rewards. That’s the real problem here: they copy the same structure and approach as legitimate websites but exaggerate the claims in hopes of getting you to give them your data—in amounts that legitimate websites never would.
The truth is that ViralMarket doesn’t make enough money from this task wall to pay what they’re offering. I’d even say they don’t make enough by selling your information; it’s too unrealistic.
It’s more of the same
This scam is just the same as other websites like Viral Bucks, SwagPay, Tap 2 Earn, and countless others. They copy the same language, style, claims, and rewards. They even recycle the same video testimonials, member profiles, and more.
I’ve even found some platforms mentioning other websites in their sales copy. In other words, they just copied the text and didn’t bother adapting it to their new iteration. They recycle street addresses, terms of service, and more.
Stay away from “get rich quick” schemes
Starting an online business requires a lot of dedication and effort. That’s why “quick buck” websites are almost always scams. SwagBucks is a similarly-structured website, but it’s been around for years, and it does pay its members; if you look at their payments, they’re not even close to what ViralMarket offers.
Making money on the internet is either easy but slow or faster but really difficult. Speeding up the process usually requires investing in premium software to help you grow your business. Still, these tools won’t make money for you; they just help you do it yourself.
If you’re looking for a legitimate way to make money without being an expert at anything, I’d recommend affiliate marketing. It takes a lot of time and learning, but you can set up your business in weeks at most.
From there, you just need to keep working on it. It’ll take a while before you start making money—let alone significant amounts. However, you don’t have to spend a lot of money on it.
You can even find free resources and training at Wealthy Affiliate. They have an excellent community and courses to help you get started and grow your business. You can try them out without any commitment since their basic course is free.
Make sure not to fall for the idea that the internet is here to become a millionaire in a day. Online entrepreneurship is the same as any other business.
In today’s day and age, there are a ton of gurus selling scams promising you to make millions of dollars overnight without putting in any work and a lot of them are for making money online.
I have tried and reviewed a lot of these garbage programs on my website and in saying that I must admit there are still some programs which are actually worth it and are quite good.
Out of all the legit programs that I have personally seen, one of the best ones I always recommend to almost anyone starting out is Wealthy Affiliate. This is one of the best places to start as a beginner.
It is one of the most comprehensive training out there teaching you almost everything you need to get started making money online. Not only do they teach you everything, but they also provide you with almost all the tools you need. It’s like an all in one platform.
One thing I love about this is that there is really no limit to how much income you can earn and it’s quite simple, requires no experience to get started so anyone can do it.
Guys, I have tried many different legit business models including dropshipping, social media marketing, drop servicing and more!
And to be fair, I have actually lost a lot of money trying out guru courses, training, webinars and things just not working/making any money.
Trust me, while those other businesses are legit and do work, they are a lot more cash-intensive and harder than affiliate marketing.
This here is NOT to brag but, to show you a small chunk of what I make online with affiliate marketing just to show you proof that I have done it.
Quite a few wealthy affiliate members actually earn over 5-figures per month! (That’s crazy, I am not there yet.)
Keep in mind that this is NOT a get rich quick scheme, you will NOT make money by just clicking a button.
This does require work like everything in life worth getting but, it’s worth it because eventually, you can not only work from the comfort of your home earning a full-time income but, start making passive income from this business.
If your looking to get started in a proper legitimate long term business you should definitely look into joining wealthy affiliate. It’s FREE to get started!
Read my comprehensive review on Wealthy Affiliate to basically see if it’s something you want to join or not.
And if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let me know, I will be more than happy to help you out!
