The Profit Shortcut Review

The Profit Shortcut Review: My Honest Review

Today’s topic is a website that offers you a chance to make lots of money without having to sacrifice a lot of time or risk your budget. That sounds a lot like those common “get rich quick” schemes; it’s easy to run into either a overhyped product—or even one that doesn’t exist—just looking for your money.

It’s scary to start an online venture from scratch, specially if you have no experience making money on the Internet. Then, you have all those dishonest products just trying to scam you out of your money.

It’s not easy to gather the will to take the first step, but researching these products before buying is a great start. That said, let’s take a look a this website, what it offers, and whether or not you can actually make money from it.

First impressions

At first glance, the website raises my suspicion. I’ve seen enough online scams to spot red flags very quickly, and seeing a website claiming to make money from home with little to no experience.

The sales page is the same as the other scams I’ve seen. Even the name is dubious; The Profit Shortcut sounds uncomfortably like Easy Insta Profits or eCom Profit Sniper, two previous “courses” that fell into the ever-growing list of disappointing scams.

Another oddity is that there isn’t any significant branding for the course. It’s your run-of-the-mill sales page, and I feel like all of these products just copy-paste the same design over and over again. However, you can see some branding for it name once you buy the product.

The Profit Shortcut: process overview

Now, let’s take a look at how the program actually works. It kicks off as your common “get rich quick” scheme, and it doesn’t get much better once you watch the video. The sales video comes with what I expected: fake testimonials from paid actors—probably from Fiverr like all other scams.

It’s the same “sell dreams, not products” methods as the other “products” I already mentioned. It boasts about how you can make money working from anywhere you want as long as you have a laptop.

Having spent a good while making money with online marketing, I can tell you that’s not exactly how it pans out. All those bits about working from the park or your favorite beach is just not practical; you want to set up schedules and routines—just like any serious business.

It’s more of the same: a bunch of fake expectations to get you to buy the product. Fun fact: if you take Russel Brunson’s The Profit Formula, you’ll quickly realize it’s arguably the same script given in that course.

It’s a very common strategy, and I’ve seen the same kind of video in almost all other products within this niche. It even fails in the same way those other offers do: they focus on selling what you can do after buying their offer instead of detailing how the product really works.

You’ll finish the video and still have no idea what the product is. It’s just telling you that it makes money.

Is it just a promotion for another product?

Well, I was half-lying when I said you’ll have no idea about the real offer. It’s actually a promotional video for a different product: Super Affiliate Network, which has also been around for a while.

Now, John Crestani has a program with a similar name: Super Affiliate System. Don’t confuse the two, as Crestani’s offer is actually quite good. However, it was another red flag for me; online scammers always use similar terminology and names as successful products to increase the chances of people trusting them.

Reviewing Super Affiliate Network would be a separate article in its own right, so I won’t delve into it right now. I’ll just say it follows a business model that requires entrepreneurs to pay before making any money.

You’ll essentially buy affiliate training, and it’s aimed towards teaching you how to sell the same product. Along with the training, you also become an affiliate; you then sell the same product and earn a commission from the sales you generate.

A very risky “opportunity”

Now, this isn’t a scam in the sense that it’s just a cash grab. There’s a real product here, and people do make money with these offers, but it needs to be a good offer if you want anyone to buy it.

This business model is often thought of as a pyramid scheme, and you could argue it’s somewhat similar to MLM programs. That’s not exactly the case, but it’s worth pointing out that it requires a lot of care and research to find a good product to promote.

You also lose all chances to make money if the program shuts down. It has happened in the past; some people can fail to earn a single commission if they enter particularly late to the program.

If you wanted to make money promoting other people’s products, you can do better. You can even find free training like Wealthy Affiliate; you just need to grab a product that doesn’t require you to pay before promoting it, and you’re good to go.

So, is it a scam or not?

If you want a short answer, I’ll just say “no.” It’s not really a scam despite all the red flags I spotted while watching the sales video. That’s because I know the main product, and Super Affiliate Network is definitely a legitimate product—whether or not it’s good is up to you, but it’s a real product nonetheless.

That said, I’d still wouldn’t recommend you to grab The Profit Shortcut to access Super Affiliate Network. It’s not that hard to find a better business opportunity, but I’ll get to that in a bit.

As for The Profit Shortcut, it’s a bit deceptive. It’s just a website meant to get people hyped for a system that might or might not work for them. There’s no way to guarantee entrepreneurs that they can get the same results marketed. They’re almost lying to sell a different product.

Despite being a real business opportunity, it’s too risky for me to recommend it. Besides, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending a product that’s advertised in the way this one is.

However, I don’t want to leave you hanging, either. There’s great ways to make money on the Internet without risking lots of money.

Better Alternative (My #1 Recommendation)

In today’s day and age, there are a ton of gurus selling scams promising you to make millions of dollars overnight without putting in any work and a lot of them are for making money online.

I have tried and reviewed a lot of these garbage programs on my website and in saying that I must admit there are still some programs which are actually worth it and are quite good.

Out of all the legit programs that I have personally seen, one of the best ones I always recommend to almost anyone starting out is Wealthy Affiliate. This is one of the best places to start as a beginner.

It is one of the most comprehensive training out there teaching you almost everything you need to get started making money online. Not only do they teach you everything, but they also provide you with almost all the tools you need. It’s like an all in one platform.

One thing I love about this is that there is really no limit to how much income you can earn and it’s quite simple, requires no experience to get started so anyone can do it.

Guys, I have tried many different legit business models including dropshipping, social media marketing, drop servicing and more!

And to be fair, I have actually lost a lot of money trying out guru courses, training, webinars and things just not working/making any money.

Trust me, while those other businesses are legit and do work, they are a lot more cash-intensive and harder than affiliate marketing.

This here is NOT to brag but, to show you a small chunk of what I make online with affiliate marketing just to show you proof that I have done it.

Quite a few wealthy affiliate members actually earn over 5-figures per month! (That’s crazy, I am not there yet.)

Keep in mind that this is NOT a get rich quick scheme, you will NOT make money by just clicking a button.

This does require work like everything in life worth getting but, it’s worth it because eventually, you can not only work from the comfort of your home earning a full-time income but, start making passive income from this business.

If your looking to get started in a proper legitimate long term business you should definitely look into joining wealthy affiliate. It’s FREE to get started!

Read my comprehensive review on Wealthy Affiliate to basically see if it’s something you want to join or not.

And if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let me know, I will be more than happy to help you out!
