eCom Profit Sniper Review

eCom Profit Sniper Review: My Honest Review

eCom Profit Sniper is highly popular right now for aspiring online entrepreneurs, and that means I had to take a look at it. Is it a legitimate business opportunity or is it just another Clickbank fraud?

As the name implies, eCom Profit Sniper focuses on eCommerce—mainly dropshipping. You probably know there are amazing courses if you’re interested in dropshipping, but does eCom Profit Sniper stack up to its competitors?

Today, I’ll answer that question. We’ll analyze the product, what it offers, what I liked, what I didn’t like, and whether or not it’s recommendable.

eCom Profit Sniper: an overview

The sales page is our first stop, and you’ll quickly realize how familiar it is if you’re experienced with Clickbank. It’s filled with CTAs, your standard sales video, and dubious claims about what you can achieve with it.

Something immediately caught my eye here: making over $40,000 monthly by investing about 20 minutes every day. It also claims you’ll start making money on day 1, and all those expectations are always red flags.

In fact, eCom Profit Sniper is just a fundamental dropshipping course focused on Shopify. Sure, you might learn a thing or two if you’re a beginner, but it’s not a particularly good product. Whether or not it makes up for the $37 price tag is highly debatable.

Dropshipping: the business model

Since the course is all about dropshipping, let’s take a moment to define the concept. This business model has you acting as an intermediary between providers and consumers. You can think about it as being a retailer but without keeping stock.

You create an online website and list products directly from your supplier. Once someone buys from you, you forward their information to the manufacturer. The latter takes care of shipping the product to them, so you don’t need to buy inventory.

For dropshippers, 3 platforms have become indispensable, and they’re almost synonymous with this business today. These platforms are Shopify, AliExpress and Oberlo.

If you’ve ever used WooCommerce, Shopify is very similar. It’s a website builder and host focused on online stores. It’s optimized for eCommerce, and you can find most features you need built into the platform. There’s also a marketplace where you can buy apps for your store.

AliExpress is one of the most popular platforms for wholesalers. It’s highly similar to Amazon, and you can browse products in different categories, too. The difference is that it’s based in China; this, combined with it mostly made up by wholesalers, guarantees highly affordable prices.

Finally, Oberlo is essentially a bridge between Shopify and Oberlo. You can make do without it, but Oberlo makes it easier to find products and import them into your store.

Now that you know the basics, let’s see whether or not eCom Profit Sniper covers them.

What do you get with eCom Profit Sniper?

For a $37 eCommerce course, no one can expect a lot. That doesn’t mean it shouldn’t offer value, so let’s see if it’s actually worth that asking price.

As soon as you pay, you’re greeted with the members area. From there, you can access the content, and it’s divided into 4 main modules and bonus resources.

An intro

Now, I’ll admit I liked this approach to the introduction module. Most courses—even the best ones—usually fill their welcome with irrelevant information, like who’s the author and what to expect from the course.

Then, they dive into the real introduction to dropshipping. It’s basically an entire module with content that could’ve been in the sales page.

In the first module for eCom Profit Sniper, you’ll learn how to set up your store. Most lessons are technical, detailing the settings and how to get your site up and running.

How to find products

After your store is working properly, it’s time to fill it with the products you’re going to sell. You first need to know what to look for, and this module is all about that step.

Oddly enough, this module only contains 2 lessons. It’s somewhat of a letdown after the previous module was fairly good. Finding products is much more important than building your store since Shopify makes it very easy, so this module should’ve been more comprehensive.

Besides, finding a good product requires time and money. You’ll have to filter out the bad ones and then test your choices with small ad campaigns. There’s no shortcut, and you’ll want as much help as you can find.

The largest problem is that there’s little to no content about niche research and how to find the best one for you.

Adding your products

This module could’ve been part of the previous one, and it feels as if it’s separate to make the course feel longer. Besides, this is basically just a tutorial to use Oberlo and AliExpress for moving your products to your store.

It’s also a very basic module. You’ll learn how to install Oberlo and how to use it with AliExpress. It might sound useful, but it’s a Chrome extension, so it’s not rocket science; you can figure out these things by yourself.

The lesson on creating collections is definitely nice, but it’s the only really valuable content here. Oberlo is noticeably intuitive, and you’ll likely learn how to use it in under an hour on your own.

Some Facebook fundamentals

The last module is just called “Facebook,” and you might assume it’s about marketing in said platform, but it’s quite misleading. It’s basically just an explanation of how to run a business page on Facebook and installing your pixel.

Sure, a pixel is vital, and your Facebook presence is paramount for social media marketing. However, there’s nothing here about Facebook Ads, bidding, etc. You just learn how to create your page and post content, and that’s it.

Yes, you’ll learn how to drive free traffic, but organic traffic is less effective every day. Sure, you might succeed, but it’ll take you lots of time—probably a year or more—if you just go for free traffic. Sure, some people might be fine with that, but remember this course promised sales from your first day and making $44,000 monthly.

Facebook is one of the best marketing platforms because of its paid advertising, not because you can create a page. If you want to start making money soon, you’ll need to use this functionality.

There’s no way eCom Profit Sniper delivers on its promises just with the content in this course.

4 bonuses

Besides the main course, you get 4 downloadable resources, and they’re mostly templates. You’ll find a PDF for discount codes and some templates for your sales copy along some image ideas and how to remove links.

Sadly, these bonuses won’t do much for you, and they don’t make up for the lack of content in this course—even at its current price.

With such a strong focus on Facebook, they could’ve added some advert templates. That would be a lot more helpful than what you’re getting here. Some of these resources aren’t even useful; you’ll likely use Shopify or another app to create your discount coupons, so the first bonus feels like filler.

What you need to look out for

As I mentioned, there are several red flags with this product. Some are visible from the sales page, but there’s a couple others you won’t spot right away. Now, these aren’t signs of it being a scam, yet they’re very good indicators of the kind of value you’re getting.

There’s some content in this course, and a complete newbie might even learn a lot from it. However, even if it’s just a fraction of what other courses charge, you still need to keep a few things in mind before you buy it.

Who’s behind it?

The first problem is that there’s no clear author in this course. I did commend how it skips the fluff in its introductory module, but you won’t find any information about the people behind this course anywhere.

There a Tom Parker speaking during the sales video, but I didn’t find anything about this guy around the internet. Many Clickbank products use pen names to free themselves from any controversy; some even use the same pricing strategy: $37 for a simple product and a bunch of upsells.

That might not always mean the product is fraudulent, but it makes you wonder why the creator is so eager not to be recognized. Besides, it’s harder to assess the real experience behind the product.

The “evidence” probably isn’t real

This sign is more suspicious: the profits shown in the sales page screenshots doesn’t look legitimate. Now, the creator claims the $44,000 in revenue is proof of his profitability, but that’s merely revenue.

You know revenue doesn’t mean profits if you have any knowledge about entrepreneurship. You have to fulfill the orders, buy the products, and spend money in your marketing campaigns.

All of that money has to be deducted from your revenue, and there’s no way to tell how much of those $44,000 was invested. For all we know, “Tom” could even be losing money, and I haven’t even touched on the possibility that the numbers themselves are fake.

The screenshot show how the $44,000 were earned with 46 sales, so he had to sell his products for almost $1,000 each on average. That’s high-ticket dropshipping, and it’s very difficult to make so many sales for such expensive products.

It ignores traffic

This doesn’t really mean the product is a fraud, but it’s worth noting if you want to make the same money Tom advertises. You need a huge advertising budget if you want to sell as quickly as the sales page promises, and the course doesn’t explain how to implement paid advertising.

Then, there’s the Facebook Pixel. You use this code for your retargeting campaigns, which involve paid ads. There’s no real reason to touch on this concept if you’re not explaining how to run paid ad campaigns, but it’s still there.

As I mentioned, this course focuses on free traffic, and that’s not an optimal source for dropshippers. It’s only Facebook, too; you won’t learn anything about Instagram, influencers, Google Ads, etc.

You won’t find a lot of success if you plan to use organic traffic only—let alone selling on your first day and making thousands every month.

It’s a bit pricier than you think

You already know your budget has to be larger than what the course suggests. Besides paying $37 for the course, you’ll have to invest more into your store.

Besides paid ads, you also need to pay for Shopify. You can start out for free, but that’s only a couple of weeks. You’ll need to buy a plan after that period expires, and while it’s not as expensive as other platforms, it’s not the last spending you have to make.

You need a domain for your store, and that can range between $10 and $20  every year. Still not a huge burden for your wallet, maybe, but then there’s the Shopify apps you’ll likely want to get. You’ll want to invest in a premium theme to optimize your store, which can be $100 or more.

That’s it for your online store, but there’s more. You’ll have to pay for advertising, but you might also want to invest in an autoresponder or a sales funnel platform. It could range from $30 to $200 or more.

Yes, business requires investment, but the course fails to mention any of this.

Finally, the course is still overpriced at $37. You can find all the content on YouTube and Google for free—including training for your platforms, which is straightforward anyways.

Conclusion

Now, I wouldn’t call eCom Profit Sniper a scam, for there’s a product behind the price. However, it’s dishonest to promise outrageous profitability with a course that doesn’t include the knowledge to get you there even years down the line.

I’d recommend you save your money and check out Wealthy Affiliate. It’s not dropshipping, but affiliate marketing is a lot less expensive—and risky—than dropshipping, and their basic training is completely free.

Better Alternative (My #1 Recommendation)

In today’s day and age, there are a ton of gurus selling scams promising you to make millions of dollars overnight without putting in any work and a lot of them are for making money online.

I have tried and reviewed a lot of these garbage programs on my website and in saying that I must admit there are still some programs which are actually worth it and are quite good.

Out of all the legit programs that I have personally seen, one of the best ones I always recommend to almost anyone starting out is Wealthy Affiliate. This is one of the best places to start as a beginner.

It is one of the most comprehensive training out there teaching you almost everything you need to get started making money online. Not only do they teach you everything, but they also provide you with almost all the tools you need. It’s like an all in one platform.

One thing I love about this is that there is really no limit to how much income you can earn and it’s quite simple, requires no experience to get started so anyone can do it.

Guys, I have tried many different legit business models including dropshipping, social media marketing, drop servicing and more!

And to be fair, I have actually lost a lot of money trying out guru courses, training, webinars and things just not working/making any money.

Trust me, while those other businesses are legit and do work, they are a lot more cash-intensive and harder than affiliate marketing.

This here is NOT to brag but, to show you a small chunk of what I make online with affiliate marketing just to show you proof that I have done it.

Keep in mind that this is NOT a get rich quick scheme, you will NOT make money by just clicking a button.

This does require work like everything in life worth getting but, it’s worth it because eventually, you can not only work from the comfort of your home earning a full-time income but, start making passive income from this business.

If your looking to get started in a proper legitimate long term business you should definitely look into joining wealthy affiliate. It’s FREE to get started!
