Connect 365 is an email automation software that is available in the market. Email autoresponders are still something that many businesses use because of how effective email marketing can be. So, is this software still something that can hold a candle to all the other email automation software out there?
I have tested out the system and detailed my findings in the article below. Read on for more.
What exactly is this software?
Like other email software, this one supposedly helps you to make a connection with the warm leads that your business gets. You will be able to make the process automated without having to keep sending emails one at a time. The good part is that every email, though automated, can be personalized to match each customer. Most autoresponders out there can do mass responses but fail when they try to personalize each email.
Using this software will help you to save a lot of time to be spent elsewhere on the business as the whole thing is automated. Also, because you are able to personalize every email that goes out, you can increase your Click Through Rate (CTR) and Conversions as people are more likely to respond to a personal email rather than a formal, mass-produced one.
You can use this software by first integrating it into your Gmail account. Every campaign can send out emails to 1500 contacts at a time. This software is created by a company that many business people already know about, LinkedSelling, which has created another software before this aimed at using Linkedin to find new clients.
How do you make this software work?
The process of setting up the software is not that hard. Here is how you do it:
- Set up your Gmail account and link the software to it. If you don’t have one, then you will have to create one.
- Create your email lists and then upload them on to the software.
- Decide what emails you want to send out and then draft them up for testing.
- Use different email lists to test out email campaigns. Schedule them up when ready to be sent.
There are also other things you can do inside of the software such as adding tags to contacts that took certain actions on the email you sent out. You can use these tags to identify contacts for future campaigns or learn how to deal with them in order to get better conversion rates. For example:
Opened the email – Shows some interest but didn’t click a link
Clicked the link – Shows interest in the product/service you promoted on the email
Scheduling appointments – Is interested in your service and put in the effort to fill out the scheduling form
Each of these tags can be unique and automatically set to the contacts name when they do these actions. These contacts can be grouped based on these tags and you can do separate personalized email campaigns that best suit those groups.
What makes Connect365 unique?
There is a lot of email automation software out there, both good and bad. Most of them excel at doing one time right whereas they tend to be about normal in the other sections. As mentioned above, most email autoresponders can send mass emails and even create tags for contacts based on the actions taken on the email.
However, the difference is that even if the contacts are grouped based on tags, you can only send out a mass email to them and you cannot personalize them as you can with Connect 365. Connect365 is even able to personalize the replies that you send to customers who have replied back to your first email!
We know how many emails an average person gets in a day. There are so many from formal to promotional emails going around and no one has the time to go through all of them. Therefore, when a person comes across a formal, boring email they would rather skip it than read it because it probably doesn’t feel good when reading it.
However, if you are able to come up with a catchy, personalized email that attracts the customer, then they will be more likely to read and respond to it. However, if you were to do this without software, it would take you ages because you would have to do them all individually. Also, with Connect365 it doesn’t matter what Gmail account you have, either personal or business, because it is supported with any Gmail account.
How do I learn about the software?
I know that using new software can be difficult at first because you have to learn everything about it and what it can do. Luckily, Connect365 they have something called a “5-day Bootcamp” which will teach you everything that you need to know about the software
If you want to try out the software, there is a free trial period of 14 days that they have going on for all new users. This trial period comes with the whole package including the training so you can try out the software, learn about it, and if you are satisfied then you can purchase it.
What are the pros of this software?
The number one big advantage is what I have mentioned till now. The fact that you can personalize mass emails and replies. Because it looks like these emails were in fact sent by a human, people will click on them. I myself know that I like receiving emails from real people instead of a machine because I know they are only an email away if I want to know more about an email. You can’t do that with a machine autoresponder.
The other advantage is the training that they provide with the software. So yes, they do have the training in place to teach you more about the software and how it works but they also include more training about email automation in general. It will teach you about funnels, the sales process, types of emails to send, and more. Email marketing is a big topic and there is much to learn there as well. For the normal price of $997 which comes with email automation tools as well, you can have this training program added to it, which will be quite handy to learn more.
The final advantage is the fact that they are offering to let you test the software first for free for 14 days. Without having to pay that large chunk of money to buy it, you can test it and see if it works for your business. You can even send out email campaigns using it to see how well your customers respond to these emails before you buy them. The best part is that you even get access to the training during the 14 day period so you have the chance to even learn something for free during this time.
What are the cons of the software?
One of the biggest disadvantages is that there is a limit on the number of daily emails you can send because you are sending these emails through a Gmail account – 1500 contacts. This means that this software wouldn’t be great for a bigger company. However, for smaller companies that don’t have that many warm leads, this may be enough.
The second disadvantage with the software is that they don’t give you the option to include an “unsubscribe” button on the email. According to Connect365, this is an advantage to you because it will make the email look a lot more personalized since only businesses tend to include the button. However, not having an unsubscribe button can be annoying to potential customers and you could lose that warm lead forever by not having it on the email. With laws these days as well, this may also be considered illegal.
The last disadvantage is that this software is mostly meant only for warm leads and not cold leads which is also a part of email marketing. Because of this, you will either need another software for that purpose or you will lose out on it potentially. Since the software is quite expensive, this does not seem like a good trade-off.
What comes with the Connect365 package?
You will get these items when you pay for the software:
- Access to the full software plus its full capabilities
- Access to the member’s area of the training program that is designed to help improve email campaigns,
- Fully updated training that includes all the most recent strategies employed by top businesses
- Top-notch support for all their customers
- Analytics for all your email campaigns to help you to measure each campaign
Who would benefit from Connect365?
This email software would mostly be beneficial for medium-sized businesses as they would have a decently sized warm leads contact list. Most small businesses will mostly do cold email campaigns rather than warm ones because they haven’t collected enough data yet.
Originally priced at a high $197/month for this software, it does not seem like a very good deal at all, especially with the 1500 contacts per day limit. However, if you are to use a link from this article, you can get the software for a discounted $67/month cost which makes it seem more worthwhile.
You will also get access to the training library where you can learn a lot about email automation as well. If you are still hesitant, try the 14-day trial and give it a shot to see if you like it or not.
How good is their customer support?
As of now, I cannot give you a guarantee that their support goes above and beyond for their customers. They are still a new business model and so there isn’t much news or reviews about the product and its support.
Saying that however, the company that makes the software is well-known and they usually provide good customer service with their other software products.
Should I buy this software?
There are some advantages that come with this software such as its unique personalizing features, the comprehensive training program as well as its library of training modules which are supposed to teach you even more.
However, this comes at a steep price to pay, and the way the software is positioned, it does not seem to fit in with a lot of businesses. You need to be a certain size in order to make use of it, but it also has a few limitations that may not make it worth the price.
Having said that, however, I cannot give you a straight answer about whether you should buy it or not because it is still quite a new software and there is not much information out there about it. It will mostly depend on your business and its needs.
You can just try the 14-day free trial to see if it’s a march for your business and if it can actually work out for you. That would give you a better idea about if it’s worth it more than reading it on a blog online.
